Building Relationships

I am blessed by the people in my life.

I am very blessed to have an abundance of friends and family in my life.  I guess this happened because I am a good friend and a good family member.

I interact with many people each day, from friends, family and co-workers to sales people, fellow drivers and passersby.  While some relationships may not seem especially significant, they provide opportunities for me to positively impact the lives of others.

I am a very positive person and smile, speak and wave to passersby. I am not so good at driving. I get irritated and leave peace.  I now catch myself and say something like "Donya, calm down.  There is a reason this person is in front of you !!"You could be in an accident if you were not being held back by this person.  Then I feel the peace start to return.  I am very competitive and I am learning to be competitive with myself and not others.

I might be the only one to show another person kindness and consideration today.  A simple caring gesture or acknowledgment can bring light to their day.  I choose my words carefully and let my connection with others be a blessing in their lives and mine.  We all share this life experience together.

When I am asking for God's will to be done I am sharing the right thing to the right person.  This is my job and we both grow when I remember to invite God in.

Through my relationship with others I also nurture my relationship with God. Because God is in all I choose to see god in all people.

I try my favorite thought. The Christ in me sees the Christ in you. This is where we are alike.  When I remember to practice this one sentence I am always doing God's will.

So then, whenever we have an opportunity, let us work for the good of all -- Galatians 6:10

Strength Thru God

Aligned with divine mind.

The mind of God is the composite of all good thoughts.  I am strengthened as I align my thoughts with Divine Mind.  I begin with a time of prayer, acknowledging that God and I are one.  I accept that all the strength I need is already withing me.

God holds my hand and walks with me through every step of my human life.  He never leaves me and I am connected to him through my soul.

If I notice an area of my life that does not appear to be working, I pause to examine my thoughts.  Do they reflect the truth of God in me?  Am I centered in Divine Presence?  Gently correcting my misalignment I feel the strength of God surge through me once more.

When door shut and I am banging my head up against the wall I am living from ego.  Ego fears losing something or not getting something I think I can' live without.  I judge myself about the chaos at home. If I would forgive the chaos I will stop getting a knot in my stomach and I can change it.  I could practice 15 minutes on a regular basis and the chaos will be gone.

In faith, my mind is lifted to the realm of Divine Mind.  From here I receive strength.  It may come in the form of mental, physical and spiritual strength, and I rely on it to fill every need.

When I am not doing God's will I am going blind.  My humanness does not know the bigger picture.  Only from my connection with God do I make right choices.  Sometimes I am not sure if I am doing God's will or not.  I only have to be  patient and find the open door.  then I need the courage to walk thru the unknown.  That takes all the faith I can muster up sometimes.  I always know God is holding my hand.

In quietness and in trust shall be your strength - Isaiah 30:15

Success through God

With Spirit as my guide I am successful.

True success involves joy in my work, a sense of achievement and material prosperity.  If I wish to succeed or advance in my work, I begin today to let Spirit guide my steps.

God opens doors for me every step of the way.  After I lost my job I only needed to borrow $1000 and paid it back withing 4 months. God sent me work ever since I gave up the unemployment mentality. Part time worked turned into full time.  At my other job I could set my own hours.  At the new job i work from 7:00-4:00. Love the hours. I have the money to pay my bills, buy healthy food, have a trainer, and buy things I want or take vacations. I spiritually connect with God on a daily basis. Life is great and getting better all the time.

I bless the work I am doing and give thanks for it. I bless my colleagues and customers by cooperating willingly and lovingly.  I turn often to the spirit of God within for wisdom in using my talents and developing my untapped abilities.

I am full of gifts God has given me.  My job is to suit up and show up when he puts opportunities in front of me.

If I feel that some person or condition is impending my progress, I release this thought from my mind and affirm, as an expression of God, that nothing can stand in my way.  Working with Spirit brings me opportunities, new power to achieve and new happiness in my work.

My work is more than just my job. God is teaching me about unconditional love.  It is my job to share this with the people, places, and things he puts in my life.

You shall be successful. Joshua 1:8

Guidance

I am conscious of divine direction and follow it's guidance.

I know to do God's will I simply need to stay in the moment, look for the opportunities he puts in front of me and love unconditionally.

Many thoughts float across my mind each day I may have difficulty discerning what is right for me to do in any particular situation.  Stepping aside for a moment of silence, I rest my awareness on the wisdom of my soul.

God connect through my soul. If I am not living from there I will miss his will for me.  I would love to say I do this regularly but I don't.  When I recognize I have left this place I immediately return and ask for clarity to do his will.

In the silence, the chatter of my thoughts begins to fade.  Error thoughts have no power.  In the silence there is clarity and I am conscious of divine direction, revealing the next step for me to take.

I don't know why I won't meditate more often and get still.  I know this is a direct connection to God.  I promised myself I would start in 2011.  It is the end of February and I have not kept my promise.

Whether the path ahead appears easy or challenging I trust everything needed has been and will be provided.  I walk a spiritual path of unfolding good and in faith I am guided each step of the way.

God never gives me an opportunity that he will not always be there for me.  With God s my guide I will always get through life's ups and downs.  I can now do this with moments of peace.  I am working on walking through situations from peace. That is sometimes a big order.

When you turn to your right or when you turn to the left, your ears shall hear a word behind you, saying, "This is the way; walk in it." Isaiah 30:21

Comfort

I am comforted by the awareness of God's presence.

Like the comfort I feel from the warmth of a fire on a cold winter day, I feel comfort in allowing the peace and love of God to calm and comfort me.  There is but one presence, one power and one love and that love lives in me.  Life situations are temporary.  The love of God is eternal.

I am very fortunate to have found my connection with God.  I know I am never alone and when I get scared or worried all I need do is pray.  " Surround me God, I know you are there."

I see the love of God revealed in myriad ways.  I see it in nature as earth recovers and regenerates after a natural disaster.  I find it revealed through the inspiration of sacred writing, poetry and song. I witness it in everyday acts of kindness and compassion.

When the hurricane hit Duluth in 1998 the morning after was a beautiful crisp day.  The sky was as blue as the pictures on puzzles.  The temperature of the air was moist and fresh.  It was amazing how beautiful it was even though there was so much destruction.  God was in the solution. Everyone around me lived.  I love to read and journal.  God comes through my mind to my pen and on to the paper.  I always try to smile when I meet someone or someone passes me.  You never know when you can change someones day and make it better with a smile.

No matter what I am facing today, I am forever sustained by the love of God.

God always has my back.  No matter what problems I create for myself. He will hold my hand while I walk through the challenge

Even though I walk through the darkest valley I fear no evil; for you are with me - Psalm 23:4

Gentleness

I treat myself with gentleness.

I try to remember to take good care of myself but sometimes I work to hard and don't say no when I need to have time to rest.

A new born baby needs gentle and tender care of a soft hug, a soothing touch, a cozy blanket.  A crying baby calms as his needs are met.  As a child of God I treat myself gently and tenderly. If I feel overwhelmed or anxious, I see myself as a tiny newborn or an innocent child, and I gently ask, "What do I need?"

Many things bring me peace.  Relaxation and not beating myself up over something I did or didn't do. I can meditate, journal, call a spiritual mentor or just take a nap and rest.

Perhaps I need a short break, something to eat or a catnap.  I may need a walk outside to stretch my legs, a conversation with a friend, or a few moments in the silence where I can feel God's gentle presence enfolding me.

My job is to stay in the moment.  Not try to fix tomorrow or change my past. The opportunities are in the present moment.  I will miss them if I stray from this moment.

Taking tome to be gently with myself shows that I value myself. I am a precious child of God worthy of love and care.

Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me; for I am gently and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.  Matthew 11:29

Vitality

I am well, nourished, healthy and filled with energy.

I am so grateful I have the money to work out. I also buy healthy food to fuel my body.  Thank you God for being in my solution.

I am created in the image of wholeness, strength and vitality, in the image of God.  This is the truth of my being, the blueprint of perfection at the core of me.  I consciously focus my thoughts, words and actions on the Truth and align myself with my true potential.

I was a soul before I was a body. This part of me is unconditional love.  This is where I am created in God's likeness.  When I live my life from this place I am living God's will for me.  Giving and receiving unconditional love.  To accomplish this I must stay in the moment.

Visualising myself moving freely and easily I praise my body and show it respect and appreciation.  Living from a consciousness of well-being and wholeness, I am continually in the flow of divine, life sustaining energy.  I am forever grateful for abundant life, health and guidance in the care of my body. I thank God for creating me to thrive and to flourish.

I love the fact that my bodies cells  replace themselves. Univera helps this and I will soon be assisting and participating in a healthier new me.  I can't wait to hear from Dick Humphrey.  This is going to start a new journey.  I can't wait to build a healthy dynasty.

The Lord will guide you continually and satisfy your needs in parched places...and you shall be like a watered garden.  Isaiah 58:11
